Get your cameras ready and put your detective skills to the test!

Join a park ranger on the Merrick Mile for a nature photography scavenger hunt! Bring your cameras and discover wildlife tracks, creepy crawlies, and beautiful views. The Merrick Mile is an unpaved, easy-moderate trail with an elevation gain of about 120ft, so get ready for an adventure!

• We will meet right outside of Headquarters.
• You will have up to 1 hour to complete the scavenger hunt!
• What to bring: This is a photo-based scavenger hunt, so bring something to take pictures with (phone cameras work great too)! Also bring water, sturdy hiking shoes, hats, and sunscreen.
• Fees: Free with park admission. Park entrance fees are $6 per adult (13 years of age and older), free for children under 13.
• Note: Trails, Cameras, Action is subject to cancellation due to weather and trail conditions. Be sure to call headquarters the day of the scavenger hunt to ask if the trails are open!
