Join a Ranger under the shade of the trees to hear the story of a young caterpillar and polliwog. Afterwards we'll explore the wildflower meadow! All ages are welcome, but this book is best for grade levels Preschool - 3rd (4-8 years old).

Join Ranger Kristen at the Bluebonnet Meadow with a blanket or chair to sit on as we read The Caterpillar and the Polliwog by Jack Kent. After the story is over, we'll search for critters in the meadow!

All ages are welcome!

Bring: something to sit on (towel, blanket, chair, etc.), water, and dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with park entry fees ($6/person ages 13 and older, kids 12 and younger get in for free!)

**Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian at all times.
