Join a Master Naturalist in Buescher State Park to discover the gifts that were given to you and everyone in Texas!

During this fun hike in the beautiful Lost Pines ecosystem you will be lead by a Lost Pines Texas Master Naturalist !  While venturing along the shaded trail and over pebbled creek beds, you will discover the gift that keeps on giving for generations to come for you, your family, friends, and Texans everywhere!  Learn about the long history of Buescher State Park, before it became a park, how it was built and how we can enjoy it now!

The hike starts at 10am and usually lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours.

The hike will be on the Winding Woodland Trail (Blue Trail) and could go from 1.5 to 2 miles.

The trail is easy to moderate with some dips and small hills along the way.

Bring bottled water, wear closed toe shoes, and be prepared for muddy conditions on the trail if it has rained.

Program is free after park entrance fee has been paid.
