Come enjoy a guided hike with a Texas Master Naturalist as you learn about the frightening side of the insect world!

During a hike in Buescher State Park guided by a Texas Master Naturalist, learn about the spooky but fascinating small-scale world where various insects fight for survival!  If you were insect sized, could you survive?  Compare strengths and weaknesses of defense mechanisms in this fight for survival!  It's a bug-eat-bug world out there!  

Meet at the parking lot near walk-in campsite 61, across from the Winding Woodland Trail trailhead.

Easy to moderate hike with some elevation change and steps.

Please remember to:

  • Wear close-toed shoes
  • Bring a water bottle

Program is free after park entrance fee is paid.
