Enjoy a day of honoring Texas Heroes including those who fought and died for the Republic of Texas. The event honors the men of the Dawson Massacre and the Black Bean Episode of the Mier Expedition of 1842 and 1843. 

Enjoy pioneer craft demonstrations; re-enactors; black-powder rifle and cannon salutes; historic flag display; historic musical presentation; corn grinding; guided tours; a keynote speaker; and much more!
