LBJ State Park & Historic Site and the Hill Country Astronomers invite you to join us for a public star party on Saturday, February 15! The event is free.

Beginning at 5:30PM, members of the Hill Country Astronomers will present a program in the auditorium at Park Headquarters. The presentation will wrap up at 6:30pm, at which point participants will move to the parking lot, where telescopes will be set up. As the sky darkens, they will point out the season’s prominent constellations and begin showing star clusters, nebulae and distant galaxies.

If the weather is not suitable for viewing the sky, the program inside the auditorium will still be held!
