Join us for explorations in ethnobotany! Learn the names and historic uses of common Texas Hill Country plants.

Discover identification techniques, and names and historic uses of common Texas Hill Country plants. Volunteer Jacob is a Capital Area Master Naturalist and plant enthusiast.

Download the iNaturalist app, bring a native plant field guide, and/or a journal to note the plants we see along the trail. We will not be harvesting any plants during this hike (all plants/animals/artifacts must stay in the park).
