Grab your coffee and binoculars then join a ranger at our Bird Blinds!

Join us for coffee at our bird blinds and Butterfly Garden this Saturday! Bring your favorite cup of joe and we'll provide the binoculars and bird guides to help identify any feathered visitors we receive! This is open to all visitors, novice or expert birder, and is a great way to learn about birds up close. Winter birds are still in the park and we are seeing quite a few that are just migrating through!

Our bird blinds are small buildings (can each hold around 20 people) with glass viewing areas that allow us to see the birds up close without scaring them away. We will put feed out starting around 8:30 a.m. which is the best time to view birds and wildlife that stop by. Chairs and tables are available in the blinds and there are special slots for putting cameras through without a glare from the glass. There is no water or bathrooms at the blinds, but there is a port-a-potty at the adjacent Equestrian Area.
