BLAST FROM THE PAST (July 8-12, July 29-August 2)
Learn about Texas history, in this exciting new camp. Uncover knowledge about Austin’s past as a shallow sea when digging in the Dino Pit. Field trip to Pioneer Farms to learn about the lives of early Texas settlers by exploring their homesteads.
H2Oh! (June 24-28, July 15-19)
Get your feet wet and discover aquatic habitats including wetlands, ponds, and the Edwards Aquifer. Observe how animals move through water in the ANSC pond and creek. Field trip to the Meadows Center in San Marcos for a glass-bottom boat tour!
NATURE TRACKERS (June 17-21, July 1-5, August 5-9)
The best way to observe nature is to become one with nature. Discuss how animals live, construct your own bird and insect homes, and search for local wildlife high and low. Field trip to a wild cave to see what habitats exist underground!
WILD ABOUT WILDLIFE (June 10-14, July 22-26, August 12-16)
Meet animals up close in this wild and wooly camp! Learn as much as you can about Nature Center animal residents and see what you can catch in the ANSC pond and creek. Field trip to Austin Zoo to see more wild animals!
