Oak Thicket Park is located on Lake Fayette, just 10 minutes from LaGrange. This 2,000 acre lake is a fishing paradise and a great family getaway. Voted one of the best bass fishing lakes in Texas. 

Reservations: Reservations for Oak Thicket facilities can be made by calling Texas Parks and Wildlife Reservation Center at (512) 389-8900 more than 48 hours in advance. There is a $5 service charge for LCRA reservations made through TPW. To make reservations less than 48 hours in advance, call the park at (979) 249-3504.
