Austin Park Rangers

The City of Austin Park Ranger program was created to provide educational and interpretive services, and to assure the safety and security of our visitors. Our goal, as a Division is to introduce and foster a connection with the natural world found in our City Parks.
The Park Ranger Division provides a uniformed presence within the Parks; emergency medical services in support of EMS; educational and interpretive programming in cooperation with area schools, non-profits, our recreation and neighborhood centers and our own award winning Nature and Science Center.
