Have you ever wondered why your cat's eyes glow in the dark? Or why dogs lick their nose? Learn the answers to these questions as we explore ways predators use adaptations to stalk their prey.

When: 10am - 11:30am
Where: Blue Trailhead (across from the walk-in sites)
Distance: 1.5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate, uneven terrain/elevation changes

 

Buescher State Park's main entrance is currently closed. Please follow the detour signs to the back entrance and make your way to Headquarters to get a map and to pay your entry fees ($5/person 12 years and older, kids under 12 get in for free).

Directions from Highway 71: Turn east on KLBJ Road. Turn left (north) on Country Road 174 (Ann Powell Road). Turn right (east) on Park Road 1C. Turn right (south) on Park Road Loop to park Headquarters.
