Looking for an opportunity to work outside, gain new skills, and give back to the only state park in Austin, TX? Join our team as a Trail Crew Volunteer!

Trail maintenance experience is a plus but not necessary. We will train you in  proper tool usage, trail specifications, and natural resource management.

Our goal is to have a committed group of individuals to service our trails once a month and lead community groups on additional service days in the park as needed.

Trail Days (Third Saturday of each month)
8:30am-12:30pm
Meet at the Playground after obtaining entrance permits at HQ. State that you're a Trail Crew Volunteer and your entry fees will be waived for the day.
Bring your own non-mechanized hand tools (loppers, rakes, weed cutters) if you have them. We are very limited on our supplies.
Bring Water! Snacks! A backpack! Bug spray! Your own vehicle!
Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants to protect your legs (like jeans), work gloves, and eye protection (safety goggles).
Leave dogs/pets/children under the age of 15 years old at home. All minors 15 years or older must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event.
