Description:

Celebrating monarchs and more!

Join us for our second annual celebration of the Monarchs as they return to Mexico. Monarchs, along with other pollinators, are an integral part of the amazing interactions that take place in nature and symbolize the importance of increased awareness of our smallest creatures and their relationships.

Join us for crafts, activities and speakers, games, face painting, live specimens and much more!

There will also be a photo contest, with prizes for the best pollinator-themed photographs!

This event is brought to you by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area in partnership with the park staff, and activities are provided by Texas Children in Nature partners and others.

This program is free with park entrance fee.

**Please note: On busy weekends, the park often reaches Day Use capacity and will close, not reopening until 4 pm. If you are coming out for the day on a weekend, we recommend that everyone, including Annual Passholders, “save the date” online ahead of time -- this can be done up to 30 days in advance with a credit card, or your annual Park Pass. https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com/
