Join us at 8:30 am at Buescher State Park at the Scenic Overlook Parking Lot.  

Bring work gloves, loppers or handsaws, water bottle, and wear closed-toe shoes! 

YOU could become a Lost Pines Complex Trail Dog!

What is a Trail Dog? Well that’s a term used in the parks to describe incredibly awesome people who volunteer to help work on the trails to improve them and make them safe for everyone! Interested in learning more or wanting to sign up for a Trail Day? Email Madalyn.Miller@tpwd.texas.gov

Our Friends of the Lost Pines Group will be having Trail Days on the third Saturday of each month! Join them and park rangers on the trail for a good time of volunteer service for the betterment of the park resources!  These are YOUR public lands, help keep them beautiful!!

Buescher State Park has over 5 miles of beautiful trails and we are looking for volunteers who would like to help keep them maintained! 

If you enjoy getting out in nature, hitting the trails, improving your state parks, and getting a good work out while having fun, then you sound like a potential Trail Dog!

Join us at 8:30 am on January 25th at Buescher State Park at the Scenic Overlook Parking Lot.  

Bring work gloves, loppers or handsaws, water bottle, and wear closed-toe shoes! 

All volunteers will get free entrance into the park for Trail Day but need to sign up with me at Madalyn.Miller@tpwd.texas.gov to get the free entrance pass information.

Those who don't sign up will have to pay normal park entrance fees.
