Being bird brained is fun! Come join us to learn a new hobby for your outdoor adventures!

Learn the basics of birding at Bastrop State Park! 

You will be provided with a binoculars to use during the program and a bird sheet to take with you back to your campsite! 

We will go on a very short and easy paved path along the old golf course,  into some mature pine area.  

You will learn how to use binoculars and birding books to help you with your new hobby! 

Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter parking lot. 

Wear close toed shoes, bring a water bottle, and binoculars if you have them. 

Program is free after park entrance fee has been paid.
