The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide, protect and preserve a Park System that promotes quality recreational, cultural and outdoor experiences for the Austin community.

General Information

In general, all parks are open for public use each day from 5am - to 10pm unless otherwise posted. At times access is limited or affected by events or maintenance issues. To report any park non-emergency issue call 311. All park emergencies call 911. Parks and Recreation Department Sara L.
