Spring migrations bring in amazing and beautiful bird species to our trails!

Join Ranger Steve in a search for beautiful spring birds! Spring brings in many brightly colored and rare birds to this park for nesting season. This casual hike is open to all who wish to see these birds whether you are an experienced birder or just beginning!

• Meet at the Equestrian Trailhead to join in.
• This hike is about 3 miles long over mostly level terrain.
• Bring your own binoculars or cameras! Email us if you need to borrow binoculars. (Limited availability)
• Children and dogs are allowed on this hike.
• Weather permitting.
• Buy your entrance permit at home! Go to our new Website to buy and print out your own permits to enter the park!
• Normal entrance fees required to enter park. No additional fees to attend this event.
