Description:

Take a trip back in time to learn about the parks history.

Join us for a hike to learn about the history of Blanco State Park and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The CCC was a part of the New Deal, a program to aid in the recovery from the Great Depression. The Civilian Conservation Corps provided unemployed young men the opportunity to work and learn new skills. Join us to learn how they lived, worked and played while building Blanco State Park.

Meet at the East side of the park by the stone bridge.  We will end our program at the Pavilion.
