Come walk with a ranger through a recently burned area of Pedernales Falls! We will explain why in the world firefighters would start a fire in our park ON PURPOSE! Prescribed burns are a very important tool for land management in our parks and we will show you why on this short hike (less than 1/2 mile).

Fees: There are no additional fees for attending this program beyond park entrance fees.

Locations: Program will begin at Warfle's Trail head Parking on way toward camp loop.

What to bring: Sturdy hiking shoes, water, and layered clothing.
