Bring a day pack filled with picnic goodies to explore the less traveled parts of Pedernales Falls. We will stop half way on this hike for a picnic break by Jones Springs. This is a great time to practice those hiking skills for Spring! Reservations are required for this event.

Fees: There are no additional fees for attending this program beyond park entrance fees.
Locations: Program will begin at Madrone Trail Parking Lot. You must check in at office and they can give you directions.
What to bring: Wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring plenty of water, bring a small/medium day pack with lunch for your party, and dress for Texas weather!

This hike is a little under 6 miles. Some sections may be strenuous for inexperienced hikers. We will stop for lunch and go at a moderate pace, so this is great if you are just beginning to try longer hikes!
