Join us for witch crafts, a special spooky storytime, and costume contests!

Don your costume and come on down to Lockhart State Park!  We will have several Halloween-themed crafts for your enjoyment, along with a “spooky” storytime!  This program is open to humans of all ages and their canine friends (on a leash).  All participants are encouraged to wear a costume, including your 4-legged friends!  There will be two costume contests – one for you & one for your dog – with prizes for the winners!

Schedule:
Crafts: 1pm – 3pm
Storytime: 1:30pm
Costume Contest: 2pm
Doggie Costume Contest: 2:15pm

Prepare: Wear your Halloween costume, if you have one!  Bring water and wear sunscreen or bug repellent, as needed.  No registration required.

Meet: In the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool, take your first right-hand turn, and park in the parking lot near the playground.   

Fees: Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under).
