Join our Ranger in hiking along the river, surveying flood damage, and erosion!

Hackenberg loop snakes along the river and brings us under the cypress trees all the way to the Falls. During our last flood event this trail took a lot of damage and a lot of flood trash. Join our park ranger in exploring the damage, erosion and newly deposited sediments!

• This hike may be difficult in some spots, wear comfortable hiking clothing and boots.
• Hike leaves from the Main Falls Parking lot. 
• Normal entrance fees required to enter park, no additional fees to attend event.
