Our second spring campfire features guest speaker Bill Lindemann!

Bill Lindemann, retired geologist, naturalist and avid birder,  joins us to talk about owls. Bringing us bird-brained facts and useful identification tips, come out to the park to meet a local natural history expert and learn about our local feathered friends. Since owls are nocturnal, how can you tell whoooo is talking to you if you can't see the speaker?

Entrance fee for the park is $7/person (children 12 and under are free); no additional fee for this program. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

Texas State Parks has a NEW reservation system. While we do not require reservations for any events at this time, without a day-use reservation, we cannot guarantee entrance into the park to attend this event. Reservations can be made online.
