Whether you're wanting to learn the birding basics as a beginner or wanting to sharpen your eagle eyes as a seasoned birder, come join in on the fun birding walk at Bastrop State Park with a local Bastrop Audubon Birding Pro!

This birding walk is part of our Kids to Parks Day!  There will be no day entrance fees to Bastrop and Buescher State Park for the event.  Activities will be taking place from 9:30am, starting off with our Guided Birding Walk, to 10pm, ending with our Full Moon Night Hike and Night Sky Program.

For the Birding Pro Guided Walk please meet up at the Parking lot beside the Refectory at 9:30am.

Bring your walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and your binoculars!  If you're working on improving your wildlife photography skills, this will be a great opportunity for you to learn a little bit more about some of the wildlife you are trying to photograph!
